EAT TOGETHER, STAY TOGETHER

When was the last time you, your husband, and your kids ate together as a whole family?

Mealtimes are perfect venues for spending quality times, as family members come together from their separate, daily lives and enjoy one another's company.

"Eating together teaches manners both trivial and momentous, putting you in touch with the deeper springs of human relations," says Miriam Weinstein, author of The Surprising Power of Family Meals.

Eating together not only keeps the family bonded through conversation, it also contributes to the well being of your children. In fact I have read that A Columbia University study, The Importance of Family Dinners, reports that sharing family meals lessens the risk of teenagers developing substance abuse problems, and improves their school performance.

It's absolutely true! Most people do not understand the importance of family bonding that's why people like us who believe on this value must shout to the world and proclaim the Good News. I have similar post with this. I invite you to read my post at http://homeofgoodideas.blogspot.com/2008/06/edus-wish.html
